Committed on Foreign Affairs recommends the Parliament to ratify Eighth Additional Protocol to the Constitution of the Universal Postal Union

The Eighth additional protocol to the constitution of the Universal Postal Union specifies definitions of the term ‘freedom of transit´, defines such terms as ‘incumbent operator´ and ‘note of admonition.´

 

The Protocol supplements clauses of the Constitution of the Universal Postal Union: "Exclusive Dealing"; "Regional Unions. Specific Arrangements"; "Accession or Admission to the Union. Procedure"; "Acts of the Union"; "Signing, authentication, ratification and other forms of adoption of the Acts of the Union"; "Submission of Motions"; "Arbitral Clause." The Committee members are convinced that ratification of the above-mentioned Protocol shall facilitate formation of the legal principles of the development of the postal sector and protection of interests of Ukraine in the framework of the Universal Postal Union.
