The Law separates the Domestic Security Service from the Main Department in charge of fighting Organized Crime under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, fixes independent official activity of domestic security sub-divisions, and subordinates the Service directly to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The bill amends clauses 2 and 7 of the Law "On the Police", clause 7 of the Law "On Organizational-Legal Principles of fighting Organized Crime", clauses 5 and 9 of the Law "On Investigative Activities."
