The Committee on Science and Education recommends the Parliament to adopt the Bill on Amendments to Clause 18 of the Law "On Comprehensive Secondary Education" (regarding Prevention of Discrimination while entering the Primary School)

The bill (Reg. No.6515) bans testing of child´s knowledge while entering comprehensive education institutions, except gymnasiums, lyceums, colleges and specialized schools (boarding-schools), supplementing clause 18 of the Law "On Comprehensive Secondary Education" with part 8.

 

The primary purpose of the bill is to protect the constitutional right for accessible and free comprehensive secondary education.
