The Committee on Industrial and Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship recommends the Parliament to recommit the Bill on Amendments to the Clause 2 of the Law "On Fundamentals of the State Supervision (Control) in the Sphere of Economic Activity" (regarding Labour Safety)

The bill (Reg. No8484) is aimed at provision of the state supervision (control) for the observance of legislation requirements in the sphere of labour protection and occupational safety, state mining control, explosive items treatment and their harmonization with the requirements of international agreements.

 

In the course of the discussion, the Committee members stated that the Law "On Fundaments of the State Supervision (Control) in the Sphere of Economic Activity" regulates procedures oft he state supervision (control) and gives opportunity to establish peculiarities of its implementation by the separate laws. Thus, the People´s Deputies are convinced that "it is not reasonable to exclude control for the labour safety from the sphere of authority of the Law, moreover it is necessary to regulate peculiarities if such control provision in specialized laws.
