The bill (Reg. No. 2696) presents a new version of clause 60 of the Law "On Protection of Economic Competition", whereby decisions, actions or inaction of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine and its bodies can be disputed in court under the legally established procedure, according to which the said disputes are handled in the administrative courts, not in the economic ones as envisaged by the applicable clause.
The Committee members informed that the Cabinet of Ministers was against the bill, as its adoption will not foster uniform application of the laws on economic competition by the courts of different specialization.
