During the meeting, the Consul Ambassador of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Ukraine informed the Committee Chairman about the situation with the library of Ukrainian literature in Moscow. He stated, "The library shall deal with the culture and literary works, which was confirmed by the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and Ukrainian Embassy during their visit to the library in January."
The Parties focused on the development of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Russia as a strategic objective of the foreign political course of Ukraine.
O.Bilorus dwelled upon the prospects of cooperation with Russia in the economic, financial and political spheres. He also suggested establishing inter-parliamentary liaison.
The Parties also discussed the topical issues of international security, including the events in the North Africa.
