Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, believes that Ukraine "should strengthen its immunity against Nazism and Stalinism." He made this statement in the Parliament, commenting on the speeches of representatives of several factions on the events in Lviv on May 9.
According to V.Lytvyn, the People´s Deputies should withhold "unparliamentary language and obscenities, because the energy of words will not solve the problem."
The Head of the Parliament stated, "Today the deputies blew off the steam, whereas a serious discussion is necessary." He admits that the conflict might have been premeditated." "We need sensible conclusions and responsible resolutions for the future," added V.Lytvyn. "It is necessary to strengthen the immunity against Nazism and Stalinism."
