The Committee on Industrial and Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship upholds the Bill "On Fundamentals of Food Supply Security of Ukraine"

No.8370) lays out the fundamentals of state policy to protect the national interests with the help of guarantees of food supply security in Ukraine and prevent the food crisis, generalizing particular areas of activity in the sphere of food supply regulated by different legal acts.

 

The state, represented by the Cabinet of Ministers, guarantees physical and economic availability of staple food.

 

The bill sets the authorities of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Council of State Security and Defense of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, local state administrations, citizens, and citizens´ unions as to the guarantees of food supply security.
