Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, will stay with a working visit in Saint-Petersburg on May 15-16 to participate in the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member Nations, International Scientific Conference dedicated to the 65th anniversary of Nuremberg Trials, IV Environmental Congress and events dedicated to the 150th anniversary of T.H. Shevchenko's reburial.

 

 

V. Lytvyn will take part in the 36th plenary meeting of Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the CIS Member Nations. The Head of the Ukrainian Parliament will speak at the International Scientific Conference dedicated to the 65th anniversary of Nuremberg Trials, and report on the events dedicated to the 150th anniversary of T.H. Shevchenko's reburial. The Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament will also take part in the meeting requiem and memorial service on Smolensky cemetery, and in the commemoration evening in Tavricheskiy Palace.

 

 

According to the schedule of the visit, Volodymyr Lytvyn will meet Sergey Mironov, Chairman of the Federation Council, Boris Gryzlov, Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Anatoly Rubinov, Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, Marian Lupu, Chairman of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, and Ural Muhamedjanov, Chairman of the Majlis of Kazakhstan.
