The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to Clause 9 of the Law "On commissioning the Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Foreign Countries" (re Manning of the Units)

Under the Law, conscripted officers and compulsory-duty servicemen are excluded from the categories of the military entitled to hold the offices in the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine commissioned for peace-making operations in the foreign countries. The bill also replaces the contract on military service in the units commissioned to the foreign countries with a supplement to the basic contract on the military service.
