The document (Reg. No.8049) envisages nation-wide celebration of the 130th anniversary of O. Bohomolets birthday in May 2011. The Cabinet of Ministers is recommended to set up the organisational committee to prepare and hold celebration, adopt action plans, and solve issues on financial and material-technical support. The State Committee on Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine shall organize broadcasting of theatrical television and radio programs dedicated to life and activity of O. Bohomolets, and provide extensive media coverage.
The Committee members have taken into the consideration the fact the the Presidium of the Academy of Science of Ukraine founded O. Bohomolets Award, while the Institute of Physiology of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine and Kyiv National Medical University are named after O. Bohomolets.
