Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, suggests preparing for the parliamentary hearings on land issues scheduled for March 23, leaving the land topic aside for a while. V.Lytvyn made this statement on Monday, commenting on several initiatives concerning extension of moratorium on the sale of land.
"I insist that no precipitous movements in the form of adoption of legislative acts should be made before the parliamentary hearings," he stated. On March 2, a meeting on this topic will be held at The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the initiative of the agrarian. "On the eve of the parliamentary hearings, it is necessary to attend to the experts, people who know what the land and its value is," V.Lytvyn stated. "Public should understand all transformations."
