The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Amendments to Clause 143 of the Family Code of Ukraine" (regarding Obligation of a Father to take a Child from the Maternity Home)

The Law
states that a natural father who is not married is obliged to take a child from
the maternity home or other health care establishment, if a mother failed to do
it.
