Mykola Tomenko, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, addressed the deputies of the parliamentary opposition, especially the BYuT-Batkivshchyna Faction, with a suggestion that they should support personal vote at The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine since the next plenary week.

M.Tomenko stated that voting for the neighbour deputies was ridiculous at first, but now "it has turned into the danger of non-acceptance of parliamentarism on the whole, let alone the deputies or the parliament." "It is necessary to take strategic steps restore the status of the parliament, elect a professional deputy corps, liquidate deputy immunity; however, nothing prevents the parliamentary opposition from acting under the Constitution and the Standing Orders right now. I mean personal vote," he declared.

The Deputy Chairman believes that such behaviour of the deputies in the opposition can raise the profile of not only parliamentary opposition, but also the whole Parliament.
