The Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement recommends the Verkhovna Rada to adopt the Bill on Amendments to the Criminal Code regarding Violation of Rules for Dog Walking

Опис : C:\Documents and Settings\Имя\Рабочий стол\2.jpgThe bill (Reg. No.5126) establishes criminal responsibility for violation of rules for walking pets (dogs) if the animal inflicted bodily injuries of moderate gravity, grave bodily injuries, or fatal injury to the victim (victims). 

 

The Committee secretariat informed that subjects of legislative initiative submitted 24 motions to the bill.  

 

The bill presents a new version of clause 154 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Proceedings, whereby "violation of rules of keeping dogs, cats and other pets, i.e. keeping of dogs, cats and other pets in the prohibited places or taking dogs, cats and other pets to the public places, or walking of dogs without dog-leads and muzzles (except of dogs with a special notification in their registration certificates) or in the non-suitable places entails a caution or a penalty at the rate of five-fifty non-taxable incomes.
