Volodymyr Lyvtyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, sent the Telegram of Condolence to Takeo Nishioka, President of the House of Councillors, and Takahiro Yokomichi, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Japanese Parliament, on the Numerous Casualties in the Result of an Earthquake in Japan

"It is with deep sorrow that the Ukrainian parliament members have learned of the numerous casualties and earthquake induced failures in Japan," the telegrams read. 

 

On behalf of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and himself, Volodymyr Lytvyn conveyed sincere condolences to the bereaved families and wished rapid recovery to the injured. "Ukrainian people share the sorrow and grief of the irrecoverable loss of your fellow citizens," the telegrams read.
