Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, does not rule out the possibility of setting up an Interim Inquiry Panel to investigate privatization of "Ukrtelecom."

Asked by Channel 5 about controversial information concerning the new owners of "Ukrtelecom", V.Lytvyn responded, "If there are some reservations about this matter, the parliamentary possibilities and efforts should be taken to find the truth."

The Head of the Parliament stated that reasonability of privatization of "Ukrtelecom" is also questioned, as the price has fallen down due to the crisis.

V.Lytvyn stated that although this discussion should have been held earlier, it is important to take action to meet the terms of privatization.
