Mykola Tomenko: The Authorities seem to have ordered to terminate all the Criminal Proceedings against the Team of L.Chernovetskyi
Mykola Tomenko, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine admitted that despite numerous declarations of the newly-elected authorities on regulation of the situation, criminal cases against the team of Chernovetskyi were suspended after the latter met the state leaders.
M. Tomenko received another appeal from the personnel of "Siaivo Bookshop" LLC concerning situation with the premises of this book shop in the center of Kyiv. M. Tomenko, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, addressed the Prosecutor General of Ukraine with an appeal to investigate the situation concerning "Siaivo Bookshop" LLC. In particular, they concerned numerous attempts of Kyiv high-ranking authorities to misappropriate the book shop premises situated in Chervonoarmiivska Street.
According to the appeal, People´s Deputy of Ukraine O. I. Suprunenko (Party of Regions) and Deputy of Kyiv City Council V.I. Suprunenko (Leonid Chernovetskyi Bloc) participated in the seizure of the premises.
The Deputy Chairman is convinced that the case with Syaivo book shop and other similar cases prove that all criminal cases against L. Chernovetskyi and his ‘young team´ have been suspended after the negotiations of L. Chernovetskyi with high-ranking authorities and statements of the Prime Minister that the mayor could occupy his office as long as he wants to.
The Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada stressed, "The law-enforcement agencies should finalize all the criminal cases to understand how Kyiv has been sold, while the Ukrainian officials shall restore local self-government in the capital of Ukraine."
