Mykola Tomenko: Campaign "Ukraine is a Country of the Strongest People" will be held on the Occasion of the 140th Anniversary of Birth of Ivan Piddubnyi
October 8, 2011 is the 140th anniversary of birth of Ivan Piddubnyi, a prominent wrestler, six-time world champion in wrestling, symbol of physical and moral strength, who was born in the village of Krasenivka of Chornobaii district of Cherkasy region.
This date calls for raising public awareness of the sporting and public activity of Ivan Piddubnyi. Therefore, the Fund of Mykola Tomenko jointly with "Mamaieva Sloboda" complex is going to hold a campaign "Ukraine is a Country of the Strongest People" on October 8. This day pupils and children will have an opportunity to attend the master classes conducted by the Olympic champions and winners of the international competitions in single combats who have been augmenting the glory of the invincible Ivan Piddubnyi in the international arena.
