No. 7421) excludes clauses 18, 26 and 40 that impose a ban on hunting in the areas of man-made landscape of biosphere reserves, in the territory of preserved areas, in the landscape protected areas of the territories and objects of the natural-reserved fund from the Law "On the Natural-Reserved Fund of Ukraine."

The Committee members stated that the bill actually allows hunting in the functional areas of the territories and objects of the natural-reserved fund of Ukraine.

The People´s Deputies believe that the supporting documents fail to give any argument to confirm environmental tolerance of hunting in the respective territories or justify cancellation of the legislative provisions of 21.01.2010.

The Committee members stressed that four biosphere reserves of Ukraine are included into the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves.

The Committee has also received numerous letters from the non-governmental environmental organizations with a request to reject the bill.
