According to Ihor Pryima, Head of the Committee Secretariat, the Committee has already scrutinized several bills, and recommends the Parliament to adopt them in the second reading and in entirety. Thus, it concerns the bill on pawn offices and lombard activity (Reg. No.3433).
The Committee members recommend adopting the bill on amendments to the Law "On State Regulation of Securities Market in Ukraine" (re Issue of Duplicate Copies and Copies of Licenses). The bill enhances the system of licensing and certification in the securities market.
I. Pryima stated that the Committee is adjusting the bill on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the credit cooperation system (Reg. No. 2256). The bill harmonizes the applicable laws on the credit cooperation system. The People´s Deputies are working upon the bill on amendments to several laws of Ukraine regarding mortgage bonds (Reg. No. 7107). The bill on amendments to several laws of Ukraine (regarding consolidated supervision) (Reg. No. 7399) is being adjusted to the second reading. The bill specifies the procedure and conditions of bank supervision over the activity of bank and non-bank financial groups. The bill on amendments to Clause 2 of the Law "On Insurance" (re abolition of the requirement for re-insurance only in the WTO member states) (Reg. No. 6192-д) is being adjusted to the second reading.
The Committee has already scrutinized and supported the following bills: on e-business (Reg. No. 6086), on amendments to the Law "On Banks and Banking" (re specificity of corporate governance in the banks) (Reg. No. 6545), on amendments to the Law "On the National Bank of Ukraine" (re cash turnover) (Reg. No. 7127), on amendments to the Law "On Securities and Stock Market" (re bond issue by the international financial organizations) (Reg. No. 7258).
The Committee plans to consider the bill on amendments and supplements to the Law "On Credit Societies" (re establishment of a self-regulatory credit society) (Reg. No. 6010).
The Committee is to scrutinize the bill on credit rating and activity of rating agencies (Reg. No. 7472), and the bill on amendments to several legislative acts of Ukraine regarding insider information (Reg. No. 7330).
The Committee is to pass the decisions concerning the bill on amendments to several Laws of Ukraine regarding regulation of markets of financial services (Reg. No. 7511).
