Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, considers the budget of 2011 as the budget of endurance.
In the interview for Holos Ukrainy newspaper published on Tuesday, V. Lytvyn explained that immense external debt payments shall be effected next year. "We shall pay UAH 40 billion by September,1 and more than 80 billion during the next year! There is a problem with the financial support of the authorities delegated to the local level", he explained.
"If Ukraine passes the year of 2011 without problems, the next stage will be easier for the country and people. Salaries and pensions, which are the most important, will be paid in time", the Head of the Parliament stated. "In general, we count on reliability and trust, dialogue and coordination of actions. With all the rest we shall cope."
