The Parties discussed development of bilateral cooperation, and topical issues of Ukrainian-African cooperation.

 

Sisei Mohammed Sidoka stated that the primary aim of his visit is development of bilateral relations and cooperation to support the inter-parliamentary dialogue between the African countries and Ukraine.

 

The Parties focused on the strengthening of cooperation between Ukraine and the African countries on the economic, cultural and inter-parliamentary levels. They discussed the issue of "effective counteraction to racism and xenophobia", and the problems of African citizens residing in Ukraine.

 

The Parties also discussed the possibility of organization of the Day of Africa at The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to foster the inter-parliamentary liaison between Ukraine and the African States.
