The Committee on Industrial and Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship recommends the Parliament to adopt the Bill "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding Improvement of the Licensing Procedures"

The bill (Reg. No6220) amends clauses 74-1 of the Law "On Fundamentals of the Legislation of Ukraine on Public Health", defines circle of folk practitioners having right on healing and implement entire register of reasons for denial in issuing, reissuance, revoking of specialized license on healing.

 

It supplements clause 21 of the Law "On Occupational Safety and Health", by the norm, pursuant to which producer or supplier is issued with the license on use of mechanic tolls, mechanisms and equipment of heightened danger before they assume obligations concerning supply.

 

Pursuant to the bill, individuals without specialized medical education, registered in established order as sole-proprietors and received specialized license on healing, issued by the Ministry on Health Protection of Ukraine or authorized body, have the right on healing. Qualification requirements to sole-proprietors- folk practitioners and demands for healing activity are established by the Ministry on Health Protection of Ukraine.

 

The bill envisages ban on healing with mass audience, in particular by the means of mass media.
