The Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations held an Enlarged Meeting to discuss Regulation of the Land Reform

Опис : C:\Documents and Settings\Имя\Рабочий стол\1.jpgThe meeting was held in the context of preparation for the parliamentary hearings "Land in Ukrainian Destiny: Situation in the Land Sphere and Legislative Support of Land Relations" scheduled for March 23, 2011 under the Resolution of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine No. 2922-17 of 13.01.2011.

 

Committee Chairman H.Kaletnik stated that formation of the market of agricultural lands was among the most debatable and politically-biased issues of agrarian policy in Ukraine.

 

Artem Kadomskyi, Deputy Head of the State Land Resources Agency, dwelled upon the bill on the land market, adoption of which should precede the removal of moratorium on the purchase and sale of agricultural lands.  

 

Representatives of the local executive authority bodies focused on the issues concerning delineation of lands before their purchase of sale, and the complexities in the interpretation of the applicable legislative acts.
