The Committee on Industrial and Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship held the Round Table Discussion "Medium-Sized and Small Business as a Tool of overcoming the Economic Crisis"

Опис : C:\Documents and Settings\Имя\Рабочий стол\2.jpgOpening the round table discussion, Committee Chairwoman Natalia Korolevska stated that at least two hundred business organizations and trade unions had united into the Council of Entrepreneurs under the Verkhovna Rada "to help the authorities avoid mistakes during the implementation of reforms."

 

Natalia Korolevska was elected co-chairperson of the Council of Entrepreneurs on behalf of the law-making body. The Council was set up to protect the interests of the small and medium-sized business that accounts for 16% of GDP of Ukraine.

 

The entrepreneurs have already set up the regional structure of the Council consisting of 24 regional representative offices. The Council will monitor development of business at the local level, and respond to the issues of the businesspeople. The Council includes the subject committees on judicial matters, monitoring and review of the legislation, counteraction to the illegal strain of the authorities on business.

 

Yevhen Shpovalenko, Co-Chairman of the Council of Entrepreneurs, stated that the businessmen had forwarded their proposals to the leaders of The Verkhovna Rada, expecting these initiatives to be supported.
