The Law supplements Clause 67 of the Code of Laws on Labour of Ukraine with new items. Thus, "to arrange favourable conditions for the use of legal holidays and non-working days (clause 73) and support rational use of working time, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine can recommend the leaders of the enterprises, institutions and organizations to postpone the days-off and the working days on legal terms and conditions set for the employees liable to a five-day work week with two days-off not later than three months before the date of the first working day to be postponed."

If the owner or the representative body decides to fulfill the recommendation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, they shall issue an order on postponement of days-off and working days at the enterprise, institution and organization within two months by consent of the primary trade union (trade union representative).
