The bill (Reg. No7356) amendments the Laws "On Fire Safety" and "On Legal Basis of the Civil Defense" and defines that the State Department on Fire Safety is a single body with control (supervising) functions in the sphere of the economic activity as a Governmental body and its is charged with the authorities in the sphere of the civil defense and technological safety regarding the control (supervision) for the business entities.
In the course of the discussion the People´s Deputies emphasised that the bill excludes from the Law "On Legal Basis of the Civil Defense" essential norms regarding the technological safety and charges great authorities to the inspector on fire safety though does into define their obligations and duties.
The Central Scientific-Expert Department of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat in its conclusion states the necessity to specify in the bill the general positions regarding the reformation of the supervision system in the sphere of the civil and technological defense.
