The bill (Reg. No. 7045) presents a new version of the Law "On Social Adaptation of Persons who served a Sentence in the Form of a Supervised Release or Imprisonment for a Certain Term", enhancing the provision on social casework of the released persons, and setting the main tasks of the social adaptation participants and supervisory bodies.
The bill holds the following bodies responsible for the general coordination of social adaptation of the released persons:
a specially authorized central executive body in charge of family matters, youth policy and sports for persons till 35 years of age inclusive;
an authorized central executive body in charge of labour and social policy for persons over 35 years of age.
The bill also specifies the terminology, determines the subjects of social casework, and regulates their authorities.
