The bill (Reg. No.7007) prohibits advertising of the medicines; sets the terms of licensing the production of medicines, wholesale and retail trade; determines the authorities of the licensing state bodies.
The bill strengthens the governmental control over the quality of produced and imported medicines in the territory of Ukraine by establishing compulsory state supervision over the quality of medicines imported in Ukraine, and compulsory supervision over the production, storage and sale conditions of medicines before issuing a license for this activity.
Adoption of the bill will strengthen the governmental control over the quality of produced and imported medicines in the territory of Ukraine.
The bill supplements clause 21 of the Law "On Advertising" with the principles on protection of the medicines advertising and restriction of advertising of the medicine and dietary means, functional food and dietary supplements.
