The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Television and Radio Broadcasting" (re Regulation of broadcasting of Programs with the Paid Interactive Competitions) as a Basis and in its Entirety

The bill (Reg. No.4510) regulates distribution of programs with interactive competitions (games, quizzes), the conditions of which envisage paid acquisition of the status of a member.  

 

 The bill prohibits broadcasting of the programs with interactive competitions (games, quizzes), the conditions of which envisage paid acquisition of the status of a member, unless they are broadcast at the channels with restricted access". 

 

 The adoption of the bill will eliminate legislative gaps that inflict financial losses to the television audience.
