The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On the Ban on Liquidation, Conversion, Alienation and Lease of the Sanitary Institutions for the Conduction of Activity not connected with the Health Improvement and Recreation"

The Law prohibits the executive authorities and the local self-government bodies to pass the resolutions on conversion (change of the main type of economic activity), alienation, liquidation, lease (mortgage) of state-owned and municipal health improvement and recreation establishments, or to pass the resolutions on their merge, division, conversion, transformation, parceling, lease of health improvement and recreation establishments.
