REPORT on the Results of Plenary Work of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on January 11-14, 2011
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine held 6 plenary meetings.
81 issues on the agenda were scrutinized.
In the result of the scrutiny:
- 21 Laws and 9 Resolutions were adopted;
- 11 bills were adopted as a basis;
- 2 bills were referred to the committee to be adjusted for the repeated first reading;
- 4 bills were returned to the subjects of the legislative initiative;
- 5 bills were returned to the committee to be adjusted and re-submitted for the repeated second reading;
- 16 bills and 1 draft resolution were rejected.
In the result of the scrutiny of the President´s motions:
- 1 Law was adopted upon adjustment;
- 1 Law was adopted adjusted for the President´s motions;
- 1 Law was rejected.
91 deputy inquiries were read out.
