In the Result of the Meetings and Negotiations in Hanoi we reached necessity to Cooperate and develop the Bilateral Relations. It was emphasised by V. Lytvyn, Chairman of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the course of the course of the conversation with journalists on Tuesday after the end of the meetings with the President and the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

 

According to V. Lytvyn, a pause in the bilateral relations and the fact nearly 12 visits of the high and supreme diplomatic levels were cancelled because of the divergent objective reasons lead to the loss of potential and this influenced the sphere of the products export first of all. "It was impossible to investigate the market and suggest own production", V. Lytvyn explained and added that "because of the long pause Ukraine has lost approximately UAD 150 million it is a small figure for such market as in Vietnam." 

 

In the result of the meetings, V. Lytvyn emphasised that Ukraine and Vietnam "as always need each other in perspective." He expressed hope that Ukraine would intensify its presence in Southern-Eastern Asia. "Ukraine shall be consecutive and methodological to investigate the region and we would try to open the doors that are now closed for us, besides our states experience a lot of common problems", V. Lytvyn declared.

 

According to him, in the course of the meeting the attention was focused on the development of the cooperation in the spheres of culture, machinery construction, aircraft- and shipbuilding. Vietnam, according to V. Lytvyn, is interested in the cooperation in the spheres of nuclear engineering. Common projects might be implemented in the hotel sphere and road construction. Taking into the consideration these fact one can declared opportunities for the cooperation in preparation for Euro-2012.
