People´s Deputies (Mykola Tomenko, Viacheslav Kyrylenko and others) sent the letter to the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych with a request to stop the terror of the officials of the Ministry on Education and Science of Ukraine against the academic board of the Republican High School of Physical Culture.
The People´s Deputies informed the President of Ukraine that the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine persecuted the high school director, Honored Teacher of Ukraine Anatolii Nilov due to the intention to substitute a "disobedient" chairman with "a close person" to make property fraud in the education establishment.
The appeal reads that the problem has already been raised by the famous sportsmen in their letters to the high-ranking authorities and mass media. However, the attacks on the students and teachers still take place, creating the atmosphere of suspiciousness and uncertainty.
The People´s Deputies reminded that the teaching board of the higher school of physical culture had trained a great number of Olympic and world champions. They asked the President to interfere with the situation and consider possible transition of the sports school to the common authority of the Ministry on Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry on Family Matters, Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
