The Law establishes legal principles of organisation and conduction of social dialogue in Ukraine, in terms of enhancing labour and socio-economic relations, and achieving mutual agreement and social harmony within society.
The Law defines social dialogue as a process of defining and approaching positions, reaching joint agreements and adopting coordinated decisions, by those parties to the social dialogue, representing the employees, employers, executive authorities and local self-government bodies, on the issues of implementation of the state social-economic policy and regulation of social-labour relations.
The Law specifies representation of the executive power bodies, employees and employers.
