Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy recommends the Parliament to adopt as a Basis the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Customs Tariff of Ukraine"

The bill (Reg. No7280) suggests new version of the Law from 1 April 2001 No2371-III "On Customs Tariff of Ukraine" and its addendum.

 

The necessity of bill adoption, according to the People´s Deputies, is caused by the need to harmonize the trade nomenclature of Customs Tariff of Ukraine in accordance to the requirements of the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System 2007 version and following of the obligations of Ukraine in WTO framework.

 

Effective Customs Tariff of Ukraine accordion to the Committee members is built on the basis of the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System 2002 version since tariff and nontariff regulation in the majority of the world countries, the EU and CIS countries as well are preformed according to the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System 2007 version.
