The 9th Sitting of the Inter-Parliamentary Commission on Cooperation between The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation will be held in Kyiv on 29 November.

 

The participants of the meeting will tackle the following issues:

 

- the state and prospects of implementation of the common Ukrainian-Russian projects in the sphere of high technologies  (nuclear power, aviation, space-rocket forces, shipbuilding, transport corridors);

- Ukrainian-Russian cooperation in the public health and education;

- cooperation between the delegations of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation in the framework of the international parliamentary organization.

 

Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Sergei Mironov, Chairman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, who will stay with the official visit in Ukraine on November 28-29, will participate in the sitting.

 

Adam Martyniuk, First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and Alexander Babakov, Deputy Speaker of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russian Federation, co-chair the Commission on Cooperation between The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
