The bill (Reg. No7276) submitted by the People´s Deputies V. Herasymchuk, V. Baranov, I. Holovchenko, coordinates the terminology used by the Laws "On National Commission on regulation of Public Utility Services Market in Ukraine and "On Public-Utility Services." Namely, it suggests elimination of the drawbacks in defining of the competence of authorized bodies regarding the implementation of tariffs on public utility services that undergo state regulation and regulates the problems faced by the public utility enterprises because of the change of authorities of the executive power bodies and local self-government regarding the implementation of the tariffs on public utility services.
The bill envisages that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine defines the order of expenses recovery connected with the delay in the course of establishment and revisal of the tariffs.
The Committee members upheld the bill as its adoption, pursuant to their opinion, would facilitate the improvement of the public utility services market regulation.
