Adam Martyniuk: Efficient Cooperation between the Parliaments of Ukraine and Egypt would facilitate Strengthening of Wide Range of Interstate Relations.
Adam Martyniuk, First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine held the meeting with the official delegation of the Arab Republic of Egypt headed by Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt.
"Today if the historical day, as it is for the first time since the Ukrainian independence that we accept in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Egyptian guests of such a high rank", the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared.
The First Deputy Chairman expressed hope that it would be a step to the preparti8on for the official visit of the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Ukraine.
The Head of the Egyptian foreign political department promised to inform the Head of his state that this visit is desirable for the both states and expressed hope that "The President of Egypt would appreciate this proposition." According to Ahmed Aboul Gheit "it is high time we opened new horizons and continue our work."
In the course of the meeting, Adam Martyniuk informed on the internal political situation in Ukraine. He emphasised the importance of the reforms being hold in Ukraine and announced by the President of Ukraine, political stability that was reached aster the completion of the last presidential campaign and return to the legal field of the norms of the Constitution of 1996, and improvement of the economic situation.
"It is for the first time in the history of independent Ukraine that the actions of the President of Ukraine, Cabinet of Ministers and the Parliament are harmonized. It is necessary to perform crucial political and economic reforms", A. Martyniuk explained. He reminded that after our state reached its independence, there was a period of great economic development and industrial flourishing. Though, the politician declared: lack of the political will and stability in the state would lead to the worsening of the citizen´s life." A. Martyniuk expressed hope that "today´s President with the support of the Parliament and people has a chance to implement reforms necessary for the states."
Speaking on trade-economic cooperation between Ukraine and Egypt, A. Martyniuk emphasised that our states have great potential for the increase of the bilateral trade rate. According to him, "official indexes for 9 months of 20110 shows that our states successfully managed to overcome the consequences of the finance crisis."
Giving comments regarding importance of interparliamentary Ukrainian-Egypt interstate dialogue, A. Martyniuk emphasised the necessity to intensify it. He is convinced that the policy, efficient cooperation of our legislative bodies would facilitate intensification of the relations within the interstate level.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament is sure that the friendly relations between Ukraine and Egypt would be even more successful in future for the sake of our nations. He stated that exchange of the visits within the supreme state level would have historical significance in Ukrainian - Egyptian relations as there are all the necessary political and economic grounds for it.
The Chairman of the Egyptian Diplomatic department Ahmed Aboul Ghei invited Adam Martyniuk, First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to visit the Arab Republic of Egypt at any convenient time.
In the meeting took part representatives if the diplomatic departments of Ukrai8en and Arab Republic of Egypt.
