"It is essential to organize entrance campaign in a proper way, instead of its two weeks extension", Mykola Tomenko, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine declared in the course of the interview for UNIAN agency.
As it is known, there is a discussion regarding the organization of the entrance campaign, in particular, The Minster of Education announced that the Ministry had no intention to extend the terms of the camping, though, the Prime Minister today declared the necessity of extension of the campaign terms for two weeks.
In his turn, M. Tomenko stated that he upholds the Prime Minster, when the latter pointed out an extremely low rate of the documents registration in higher educational establishments. Though, he deems it a mistake to extend the terms of the campaign for two weeks, "as the problem is not in prolongation of the campaign, but in its organization level." Thus, he is convinced that it is necessary to conduct elucidating work, increase the quantity of the entrance committees members and provide necessary conditions for the work of the personnel and university entrants.
