From the Beginning of the Year, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine received more than 43 Thousand Citizens' Appeals

For the first six months of the current year, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine received 43 235 propositions, appeals and complaints of the citizens that is on 4999 appeals less than for the relevant period of the last year. Among them 5510 are collective appeals signed by 84 065 people.

 

Pursuant to the data of the Citizens´ Applications Office of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariate, the reduction of the quantity of appeals to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine was caused by the reduction of the quantity of the written and oral appeals to the Committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Fighting Organized Crime and Corruption (-429), on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement (-341), on Finance and Banking Activity (-318), on the Matters of Pensioners, Veterans and Persons with Disabilities (-178), Deputies Faction of Party of Regions (-126), Deputies Faction of the Communist Party of Ukraine (-103).

 

Though, the quantity of applications, drafted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Taxation and Customs Policy increased in comparison with the relevant period of the last year in 857, the Committee on Justice in 363, the Committee on Legal Policy in 233, in the Deputies Faction "Bloc Lytvyna" in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in 160 applications.

 

In general during the first 6 months of 2010 the Committees and Deputies Factions in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine have received 10 356 and 3492 propositions, appeals and complains of the citizens relevantly. To the Managements of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine appealed 646 citizens among them 304 to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn. In the structural subdivisions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariate 29 387 applications of the citizens were finalized, among the majority of them was scrutinized by the Citizens´ Applications Office of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariate (27 280).

 

In the course of the first 6 years of 2010 3547 people visited the personal reception, in particular to the Parliamentary Committees appealed 186 citizens and to the Deputies factions 91.

 

Pursuant to the information submitted by the Secretariats of the Deputies Factions, in the course of first 6 years of 2010 approximatelly160 thousands of voters appealed to the People´s Deputies of Ukraine and to their advisors in the regions appealed nearly 160 thousand of voters. They scrutinized 73 thousand written applications, conducted 14,2 thousand of personal receptions and 16,3 thousand meeting with the voters.

 

During June 2010 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine received nearly 1660 applications and complaints of the citizens on the matters of the housing policy that is in 1160 appealed less than for the relevant period of the last year.

 

Still remain topical the issues on the state building and administrative-territorial subdivision 1186 propulsions, appeals and motions of the citizens;  agrarian policy and land relations 1058; public utility service 1033; education, science, research-technical, innovational activity and intellectual property 651, economic, price, investment, foreign economic and regional policy, building and entrepreneurship 432 applications.

 

All the propositions, appeals and motions of the citizens received by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine were scrutinized and directed to the relevant bodies of the state power, local self-government, prosecuting bodies and court.
