The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Ratification of the Convention on Implementation of the System of Testaments Registration"

Pursuant to the Convention registration in the Countries of the agreement undergo:

 

Зокрема, згідно з Конвенцією, реєстрації в Договірних Державах підлягають:

verified testaments, asserted to the notary, state body or other people that possess the rights pursuant to the Law of this State register it and also other testimonies, transmitted for the keeping to the body of person authorized by the Law;

 

olographic wills, transmitted to ht keeping of notary, state body or other people authorized by the Law of this state to accept them for keeping, though the officials document on the acceptance of the testimony is not concluded if the Law permits such procedure. Testator has the right to reject from the registration of the testimony is the indicated Law does not prohibit such rejection.

 

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ratified the Convention with such declaration to the clause 3 of the Convention:

"Pursuant to the item 1 clause 3 of the Convention national body for execution in Ukraine of the functions, envisaged by this Convention is Ministry on Justice of Ukraine."

 

A relevant bill is registered under Reg. No0175.
