The issue was discussed in the order of the parliamentary control. The Committee members heard the information of the Court of Auditors and relevant explanations of the Ministry on Family Matters, Youth Policy and Sport. In the result of the discussion the Committee charged the profile Ministry with the analyzing of the legislative and other normative acts and elaborate in case of need amendments to them, in particular regarding the defining of the terms "neglected, homeless children", other amendments aimed at the improvement of the work regarding the prevention of dangerous events in life of children. The People´s Deputies pointed out the attention to the fact of the necessity of the improvement of the state statistic reporting on these matters.
Ministry is charged with the putting into effect till 1 January 2011 the Single Informational-Analytical System "Children" and observing of the legislation regarding its functioning.
According to the People´s Deputies the legislative body is supposed to strengthen the work regarding the support of the families with children that would prevent the spread of the crisis phenomena in family environment and increase of the threats of "social orphanhood."
