Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, admits that the current session may be prolonged till July 21

 

At the press conference in Chernihiv, V.Lytvyn informed about the initiative that three plenary weeks be held in succession, as the draft Budget and Tax Codes require substantial adjustment.

 

However, the Head of the Parliament suggests that The Verkhovna Rada hold plenary meetings during the next two weeks, work with the voters on July 12-16,  and continue session work on  July 19-21, 2010.
