To the Personnel of Artek International Children Centre and its Visitors
Please accept my sincere greetings on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of Artek International Children Centre.
Artek Children Centre is a venue of spiritual joy, sincere friendship and benevolence, mutual help, and creative self-actualization of adolescents.
Artek is glorious and priceless, because it became a democratic republic of happy childhood, preserving the best and the most important things among its assets. Its activity is unique in the approaches to the child´s personality, discovery of a new world-view during the training for the adult life. Innumerable sincere testimonials of the visitors of Artek confirm this fact.
The personnel of the Centre deserve special words of gratitude. Their ardent work can not be overestimated, since it gave a boost of energy, kindness and justice to many generations of children.
May all the virtuous and humane concepts usually associated with Artek expand; may its remarkable traditions and exciting history develop. I wish you inspiration in making new achievements for the sake of a wonderful atmosphere of endless childhood.
