The Law introduces the version of part 5 clause 218 of the Criminal Procedural Code of Ukraine, under which the materials of pre-trial inquiry shall be filed and numbered. Presenting the materials of pre-trial inquiry, the criminal investigator shall supply the defendant with the properly certified copies of case files description, which is notified in the protocol after the trial on presentation of the case files to the defendant and the defender. The materials on preventive security measures for people involved in the criminal proceedings shall not be presented and shall be kept apart from the criminal case.
