Adam Martyniuk: Economy of Khmelnytskyi Region will receive Two Billion Dollars shortly
"Economy of Khmelnytskyi region will receive two billion dollars shortly. These funds will be invested into the extension and construction of two blocks of Khmelnytskyi Nuclear Power Plant", Adam Martyniuk, First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, stated, staying with a working visit in Khmelnytskyi.
A.Martyniuk visited Khmelnytskyi Macaroni Factory.
Discussing regional economic affairs with the factory personnel, the First Deputy Chairman stated that "these two billion dollars will become a substantial economic support for the region."
A.Martyniuk is concerned with the fact that "the rates of development of industry, construction and agriculture of Khmelnytskyi region fall behind the national rates", since it can not but bear an influence on the life of the residents. He presented disappointing figures: "The region occupies the 20th place in the country by the rate of wages. It is hard to cover the arrears in wages in the amount of UAH 24 million."
A.Martyniuk expressed his gratitude to the personnel of Khmelnytskyi Macaroni Factory for their efforts taken to overcome recession at the enetrprise.
