The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On State-Private Partnership"

The Law defines organizational and legal principles of cooperation between the state and private partners, and fundamentals of state-private partnership on a contractual basis.

 

Under the Law, "a state-private partnership is cooperation between the State of Ukraine, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, territorial communities in the person of the public authority and local self-government bodies (state partners), and legal entities except of state-owned and municipal enterprises or sole proprietors (private partners) effected on a contractual basis in conformity with this Law and other legislative acts."  

 

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine shall determine specificity of participation of several persons on the side of the private partner in the competitions for appointing the private partner to the state-private partnership.  

 

A relevant bill was registered under Reg. No.5239.
