Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, is for the Optimization of the Power Structure, in particular it concerns the Executive One.

 

Asked by the journalists in the course of the press conference on Thursday, in particular regarding the possible rotations in Government, V. Lytvyn expressed for the rejection from "quote principle of the formation at last in Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine." "Government is supposed to work as one team", he declared.

 

The Head of the Parliament declared that dignitaries are supposed "to be prominent and authoritative in the spheres they are supposed to govern" and also responsibility should be the main criterion of their work. Furthermore, he mentioned that all the appointing should be made public "for all the citizens were sure in the professional qualities of the high-ranking officials."

 

V. Lytvyn also referred to the research pursuant to which, the Government "effectively work when it personnel comprises 15-17 people, and the maximum quantity of Ministers is 21", otherwise the Minister are drown in paperwork.

 

"Thus, taking into the consideration the fact such discussion is still continued I do not exclude that there would be changes", V. Lytvyn declared.
